Ho Chi Minh City Plans Low-Emission Zone to Curb Vehicle Pollution by 2027

Ho Chi Minh City authorities are drafting regulations to establish a low-emission zone in its downtown and Thu Thiem districts starting in July 2027. The initiative will progressively expand to Ring Road 2, restricting high-polluting vehicles from entering restricted urban areas.
