Hundreds of Estonian Students Lack School Placements as New Academic Year Begins

School year opens with hundreds of students still waiting for placement

As of Monday, 575 young people who finished basic school this spring still do not have a new school place registered in the Estonian Education Information System. The lists continue to change constantly, as some students decline the places offered to them, after which those places are offered to the next candidates.
