Hungary's Asbestos Issue: Reports, Tests, and Billions in Costs
An inter-ministerial working group in Hungary is addressing an ongoing asbestos issue, with 803 reports and 181 geological tests conducted. The cleanup of the most severely affected site in Szombathely alone could cost billions of forints, with laboratory tests already exceeding 10 million forints.
