Icelandic Authority Threatened to Halt Sólhestar Operations Over Animal Welfare Violations
The Icelandic Food and Veterinary Authority (MAST) threatened to shut down the horse rental company Sólhestar earlier this year due to repeated violations of animal welfare laws, as the company showed little regard for numerous serious concerns regarding the health of many horses.
