Icelandic Government Urged to Use Emergency Powers on EU Emissions Trading

Sigmundur Davíð Gunnlaugsson, leader of the Centre Party, stated in Althingi that Iceland cannot participate in the EU's emissions trading system. He urged the government to utilize Iceland's emergency and sovereignty rights regarding the issue.
