Icelandic Parliament Approves Bill to Simplify Environmental Regulations
The Icelandic parliament (Alþingi) has approved a bill proposed by the Minister of Environment, Energy, and Climate, Jóhann Páll Jóhannsson. The legislation aims to simplify regulations and increase efficiency in health and pollution control, taking effect on January 1, 2027.
