Icelandic State Acquitted in Vélfag Lawsuit
The Icelandic state was acquitted of claims made by the company Vélfag in the Supreme Court. The case of Ivan Nicolai Kaufmann, the majority owner, was dismissed, as Vélfag had demanded the state reverse Arion bank's decision to freeze funds.
