Icelandic Thriller 'Dead Weight' (Gestum) Set for International Film Adaptation

Hildur Knútsdóttir's Icelandic thriller novel, "Gestum" (also known as "Dead Weight"), is being adapted for the screen following a new international production agreement. Act4, co-led by Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, in collaboration with Mad Rabbit Productions, has secured the film rights, with 'The Handmaid's Tale' director Kari Skogland also involved in the adaptation.
