Iconic Tbilisi Building Slated for Demolition After Years of Disuse

A monumental steel and glass structure in Tbilisi, intended as a cultural landmark, is set to be demolished after standing empty for 14 years without hosting any events. A new facility is planned for its site.

Przez 14 lat monumentalny gigant ze stali i szkła, przypominający dwie gigantyczne tuby, stał jednak pusty – nie odbył się w nim ani jeden koncert, spektakl czy wystawa. Teraz zapadła decyzja kontrowersyjna jak sam obiekt: Sala Koncertowa Rike zniknie z mapy miasta.
