IEBC Sets February 10 Deadline for Public Officers Eyeing 2027 Elective Posts to Resign

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has announced that public officers intending to contest elective posts in the 2027 general elections must resign by February 10. Campaigning will close on August 7, 2027, 48 hours before Kenyans head to the polls.
