FSSAI issued 150 notices to major food brands in recent months over misleading ads

India's food regulator FSSAI has issued over 150 notices to major food companies recently. These notices address misleading advertisements and non-compliance with labeling regulations. Action has been taken against brands like Nestle India and Coca-Cola India. E-commerce platforms Amazon and Flipkart also received multiple notices and a warehouse license cancellation. Food service establishments including KFC and McDonald's faced similar enforcement actions.
