Investigation into Death of 20-Year-Old After ICU Wait in Poland

The Patient Rights Ombudsman and prosecutor have launched an investigation into the death of 20-year-old Julia in Gdańsk, Poland, who died of urosepsis in February 2026 after waiting eight hours for an ICU bed.
