Iran and Oman Reach Agreement on Revenue Sharing in Strait of Hormuz
Iran and Oman have finalized a deal to share revenues from commercial navigation through the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz, according to Iranian Revolutionary Guard officials. The agreement’s full implementation, however, remains contingent on U.S. cooperation and the resolution of ongoing regional hostilities.
