Italian Military Member Recognized as 'Victim of Duty' Due to Asbestos-Related Cancer

An Italian military member has been recognized as a "victim of duty" by the Court of Tempio Pausania, which ruled that the Ministry of Defense must pay €200,000 in damages for a tumor caused by asbestos exposure on ships.
