Italy-Spain Schengen Dispute: Madrid Demands Reopening of Borders

Spain's government has demanded that Rome reopen the Schengen area by the 9th, threatening proportional measures if Italy does not comply, stating that Italy's decision was based on 'pretextual motivations' and that Rome has not respected the Dublin Regulation since 2022.
