Japan and South Korea Vow to Strengthen Security Cooperation

Japanese Defense Minister Koizumi visited South Korea for the first time since taking office, meeting with Defense Minister Ahn Gyu-baek. Both governments agreed to strengthen security cooperation, particularly in light of increasing military ties between China, North Korea, and Russia.
