Japanese Minister Considers Visit to China for APEC Meeting
Japan's Minister in charge of Policies for Children, Kawashida, is reportedly arranging to attend an APEC ministerial meeting in Shanghai starting on the 15th. If realized, it would be the first visit by a Japanese minister to China since Prime Minister Takaichi's parliamentary remarks on a 'Taiwan contingency'.
