Japanese Prefectures Begin Individual Notifications for Eugenic Protection Law Compensation
Tokyo, Hiroshima, and two other prefectures in Japan have started directly notifying victims of the former Eugenic Protection Law about their eligibility for compensation, as efforts to compensate those forcibly sterilized under the law have been slow.
