国会で与野党の対立が続く中、衆議院議院運営委員会の与野党の筆頭理事が会談し、与党側は皇族数の確保に向けた皇室典範改正案を議院運営委員会で速やかに審議入りさせたいと提案しました。これに対し、野党側は「聞き置くのみとしたい」と述べ、引き続き、協議することになりました。
