Japan's LDP and Ishin Party Approve Bill to Cut Lower House Proportional Representation Seats
Japan's Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) and Ishin Party have approved a bill to reduce the number of proportional representation seats in the House of Representatives by 45, if no conclusion is reached within one year by the House of Representatives Council. They aim to submit and pass the bill in the current Diet session.
