Kayaker, 73, who survived night lost at sea north of Adelaide says worst part was ‘too many mozzies’
Goran Radic was winched to safety by a rescue helicopter and found to be in good health despite the ordeal. The 73-year-old kayaker spent the night lost at sea north of Adelaide without his phone. He noted that his wife was relieved he survived and that the most challenging part of the experience was the overwhelming number of mosquitoes. Radic had launched his single-person kayak from Middle Beach, a coastal suburb roughly 40km northwest of Adelaide’s city centre.
