Latvia launches new road safety campaign with 'buckle up' signal

'Buckle up' signal to sound throughout Latvia on Tuesday

On Tuesday, 18 August, at 11:00, a signal warning of a seatbelt not being fastened will be broadcast on radio stations and at petrol stations. This will mark the start of the Road Traffic Safety Directorate’s (CSDD) new campaign: “The last dance begins without a seatbelt. Don’t take chances – buckle up!”, CSDD said in a release.
