Victims of online scams lost up to $114.1 billion in Asia and the Pacific last year
According to a UNODC report, cyber scams in East and Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand saw a significant increase last year, with victims losing up to $114.1 billion, tripling since 2023.
