Lyon Hospital Authorized to Use Bacteriophages for Infection Treatment

Hospices Civils de Lyon has received authorization from the French National Agency for Medicines and Health Products Safety (ANSM) to produce bacteriophages, viruses found in sewage, for treating infections, marking a first in France.
