Rs 35 cr horse trading allegations: Madras HC grants anticipatory bail to Senthil Balaji

The Madras High Court granted conditional anticipatory bail to DMK MLA V Senthil Balaji and his brother. This bail is in connection with an alleged Rs 35 crore horse trading attempt. The attempt aimed to destabilize the ruling TVK government, according to a complaint. The court directed both petitioners to appear before the investigating officer twice daily. Their names do not appear in the FIR, petitioners stated, citing political motives.
