Malaysia Deploys Security Forces Ahead of National Day Festivities

Malaysian authorities have deployed more than 2,300 police officers to secure Putrajaya ahead of the nation’s annual National Day commemorations. Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim is scheduled to deliver his official address at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre as part of the coordinated celebrations.
