42 grooms for 0 brides: Mass wedding con in MP leaves baraatis high & dry

Dozens of families in Madhya Pradesh were defrauded in a bizarre marriage scam. Grooms arrived for a mass wedding, only to discover the promised brides, allegedly from an Indore orphanage, were non-existent. Organizers collected thousands from families, using social media photos as 'brides.' Police arrested some accused, with investigations ongoing to recover the Rs 1.76 lakh collected.
