Massive Fish Kill in Old Rhine Due to Drought and Heat

Hundreds of fish have died in the Old Rhine near Lampertheim, Germany, as severe drought and high temperatures have led to critically low oxygen levels in the water. Efforts by the Technisches Hilfswerk to pump water have been insufficient to prevent the ecological disaster.
