Gurgaon rain chaos: Massive sinkhole swallows service road on Delhi-Jaipur highway

A service road near IFFCO Chowk caved in, creating a large crater and disrupting traffic. Authorities closed the affected stretch while assessing damage to a major sewer line beneath the road. Heavy rains exacerbated existing infrastructure issues, causing waterlogging and stranding school buses. This incident follows several other road collapses and sinkholes reported across Gurgaon recently. Repair work on the damaged sewer line is scheduled to begin soon.
