Mega-Events Drive HK$5.8 Billion in Spending in Hong Kong
Visitors to major events in Hong Kong contributed HK$5.8 billion (US$739 million) in spending during the first half of the year. Financial Secretary Paul Chan Mo-po reported that the average spending per visitor was HK$3,314.
