Mixed-Rate Housing Loans Decline in Portugal as Variable Rates Rise
The Bank of Portugal reported a shift in housing credit trends, with mixed-rate loans decreasing to 75.4% of new credits from 81.5% in 2024, while variable-rate loans increased to 18.6% and early repayments fell by 7.2%.
