Modernized Upper Zaramag Border Crossing Between Russia and South Ossetia Reopens

Regional * Following a large-scale reconstruction, the modernised Upper Zaramag border crossing — the only land crossing between Russia and South Ossetia — has reopened in North Ossetia. Three additional traffic lanes have been opened, and border crossings are now expected to take less time, making the procedure significantly more convenient.
