Če bi drevesa znala govoriti, bi ta mogočni hrast iz Južne Karoline pripovedoval zgodbe o vojni, strahu, pogumu in preživetju. Predvsem pa je živa priča zgodovine. Star je skoraj tri stoletja in tudi priča ameriške vojne za neodvisnost. Danes pa se sam bori za preživetje.
