Zaradi zaostrenih geopolitičnih razmer je Nizozemska centralna banka v London premestila 86 ton zlatih rezerv iz New Yorka in Ottawe. Del so prodali v New Yorku in nato znova kupili v Londonu, del pa so fizično prepeljali na novo lokacijo. Kot so pojasnili, je cilj ukrepa povečanje varnosti, večja decentralizacija zalog in lažja dostopnost zlata v morebitnih kriznih situacijah.
