New Polish law introduces fines up to 200,000 PLN for impersonating a legal counsel

A new law in Poland imposes fines ranging from 5,000 to 200,000 PLN for unlawfully using the professional title of 'legal counsel' or 'legal counsel's office,' also granting legal counsels protection similar to public officials.

Za bezprawne używanie tytułu zawodowego „radca prawny” lub oznaczenia „kancelaria radcy prawnego” grozi od czwartku grzywna od 5 tys. do 200 tys. zł. Radcowie prawni uzyskują też ochronę, która przysługuje funkcjonariuszom publicznym.
