Nine-year-old boy dies in Sri Aman house fire, five others injured

KUCHING, March 7 — A nine-year-old boy was killed in a house fire at Taman Sentosa Indah, Sri Aman, early this morning. Five others sustained injuries and were taken to Sri Aman Hospital for treatment. The fire, which broke out around 3 a.m., destroyed the wooden house. Firefighters from the Sri Aman Fire and Rescue Department (BBP) rushed to the scene and managed to control the blaze after about an hour. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
