Normal speed limits reinstated on motorways, highways

ISLAMABAD: The government on Sunday withdrew its decision to temporarily reduce speed limits on motorways and national highways, restoring the previously prescribed limits. The speed limit for cars and light transport vehicles (LTVs) on motorways has been restored to 120km per hour, while the speed limit for public service vehicles (PSVs) and heavy transport vehicles (HTVs) has also been reinstated to 110 km per hour, according to the National Highways and Motorway Police.
