Norway and Canada Procure Identical Submarines

Norway is set to save money by acquiring the same type of submarine as NATO ally Canada, according to Norwegian Defense Minister Tore O. Sandvik. This procurement strategy involves Germany as well, with all three nations opting for identical vessels.
