Den 28. mars publiserte NRK en sak om guttene som ble beskyldt for drapet på Silje Marie Redergård i Trondheim i 1994, og som nå sto fram. De pårørende til Silje var ikke varslet om saken før den ble publisert. NRK beklager dette, og den merbelastningen det medførte for familien.
