OZO Ostrava to Reduce Energy Dependency with Cogeneration Units

The municipal waste management company OZO Ostrava plans to reduce its reliance on fluctuating energy prices by partnering with Veolia to build two cogeneration units, which will cover most of its electricity and heat consumption.

Městská odpadová společnost OZO Ostrava už nechce spoléhat na vývoj cen energií na světových trzích. V jejím areálu společnost Veolia postaví dvě kogenerační jednotky, které pokryjí většinu spotřeby elektřiny a tepla. OZO dnes za energie ročně vydá přibližně 30 milionů korun.
