The city of Pardubice has issued a unique building moratorium to protect a 19th-century historic brewery, preventing an investor from demolishing the building to construct apartments or a school.

Pivo se v něm přestalo vařit před třemi lety, proslulý pardubický pivovar teď chrání unikátní stavební uzávěra. Nástroj, který má zabránit zbourání historické budovy z 19. století, město využilo vůbec poprvé. Reaguje tak na krok investora, který chce v areálu stavět byty a požádal o povolení ke zbourání objektu.
