Parents Accused in Toddler's Death Released from Custody in Poland

An appeals court in Wrocław has released Bohdana and Ivan Y., parents suspected of abusing their one-year-old daughter who died after several months of hospitalization. Prosecutors accuse them of abuse and extreme neglect.

Sąd Apelacyjny we Wrocławiu uchylił tymczasowy areszt wobec Bohdany i Ivana Y., podejrzanych o znęcanie się nad roczną córką. Dziewczynka zmarła po kilku miesiącach hospitalizacji, a prokuratura zarzuca rodzicom znęcanie się i skrajne zaniedbania.
