PCOS renamed Polycystic Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome for improved diagnosis
Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) has been officially renamed Polycystic Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS) after a 14-year global effort, aiming to better reflect the condition's hormonal and metabolic nature and improve diagnoses.
