Phone scam victim in Bălți loses money after being tricked into taking loans
Police in Moldova reported four telephone fraud cases on September 8, resulting in a total loss of 554,380 lei, including one case where a young woman from Bălți was convinced to take out two loans and transfer the funds to scammers.
