Policeman who killed 'drug pusher' in Milan detained
(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 23 - A policeman who shot dead a 28-year-old suspected drugs pusher in Milan's Rogoredo district on January 26 was detained on Monday for suspected homicide. The 42-year-old policeman, Carmelo Cinturrino, had said the deceased man, Moroccan Abderrahim Mansouri, pulled a pistol on him that subsequently turned out to be a blank-firing gun during a drugs control. Prosecutors, however, suspect that Cinturrino planted the blank-firing gun at the crime scene after Mansouri was killed.
