Polish Ombudsman Criticizes Systemic Trap Affecting Property Owners

Polish Ombudsman Marcin Wiącek stated that the situation where apartment owners cannot use their property for years, effectively expropriating them, is due to the state shifting its homelessness prevention duties onto citizens. He highlighted that the Constitutional Tribunal ruled against this practice almost 30 years ago.
