A 65-year-old woman in Poland was scammed out of 15,000 Polish Zloty through a series of deceptive phone calls that created increasing anxiety and led her to transfer money to 'protect' her savings.

To nie był jeden telefon, to była cała historia konstruowana krok po kroku. Dzwoniły kolejne osoby, budząc coraz większy niepokój. W rezultacie 65-latka zrobiła przelew błyskawiczny na 15 tysięcy złotych, "by chronić swoje pieniądze".
