Portugal Faces 300,000 Housing Deficit Over Last Decade, Says Bank of Portugal
The Bank of Portugal (BdP) estimates that the country has accumulated a housing deficit of 300,000 homes over the past decade, equivalent to the housing stock of "one Lisbon" or "two Portos." While minor improvements are noted, the deficit remains substantial.
