Portugal Raises Civil Protection Readiness to Level 3 for Fire Danger
Portugal's National Emergency and Civil Protection Authority (ANEPC) has elevated the Civil Protection readiness level to 3, anticipating 'very high to maximum' fire danger across the entire territory. The area burned and number of fires have already doubled compared to the same period in 2025.
