Portugal's New Measure Requires Disabled and Cancer Patients to Perform Social Work
A new measure in Portugal mandates young people with disabilities and cancer to undertake social work, with exemptions only for those with 80% or higher incapacity. The government states situations will be evaluated "case by case," while the measure is estimated to cost up to 40 million euros.
